OHLA Charity Volleyball Tournament

Join OHLA and property leadership teams for a day of friendly competition in Columbus. This highly anticipated annual event is an outdoor sand volleyball tournament dedicated to raising funds and growing visibility for the fight to end human trafficking. All team registrations in the past 5 years were contributed to Freedom a la Cart, an organization committed to helping trafficking victims return to the workforce.

Hotel Property/Management Company/ Ownership Members ($300/per team of 6*)

Team must represent a hotel property/properties or hotel management/ownership group.

Allied Members (min $1,000 sponsorship)

To participate with a team, Allied Members must support the event with a minimum $1,000 sponsorship. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available here. For questions or to sign up, please contact sara@ohla.org.

Singles ("Free Agent") Registration ($60)

Can't pull together a full team of 6? Hoteliers can also sign up as a single player. You will be placed on an existing team as a team member or alternate.

*Team includes 6 players, but two additional players can rotate throughout the day if they have completed a waiver.

What Registration Includes

Each team will receive the following:

2 Pizzas Per Team
6 drink vouchers (one per player)
8 bandanas

Additional pizzas and drink vouchers (beer, wine, or liquor) can be purchased a la carte during the registration process. The full bar menu is available for purchase separately.

Important Game Play Information

All participants MUST sign a waiver in order to play.
All players must be 21+ in order to participate. Unless accompanied by an adult.
Only 3 male players must be on the court at one time.
A water station will be available at the bar for players to utilize.

What to Bring

This is a family-friendly event. We invite you to bring along spectators of all ages!
Sunscreen and/or full coverage clothing. Out on the courts, the only coverage is single umbrellas at the tables.

Woodland Backyard Volleyball & Venue Rules

No outside food & drink permitted. Food & beverages must be purchased through the venue.
No coolers allowed on site
No glass allowed on site
Pets must be on a leash AND picked up after.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
No Open Play unless designated by staff.
Pop-up tents are permitted with prior notification to OHLA
First and foremost, this tournament is intended to be fun, social, and recreational in nature. Accordingly, aggressive or confrontational behavior will not be tolerated. If there is a dispute, replay a point or notify a volleyball coordinator. Mgmt. has the final authority on all disputes.
